    Sedan Slider

i've recently bought a few parts for my project here on this forum, id like to share my project. this car is intended to drift, and be a weekend car.

    unmolested 1987 325i, auto w/ lsd package 3.73

i was driving home from a track day, car was basically A to B car. The timing belt broke and broke a rocker arm in the head. i had a few extra $ and decided to try out a v8.

so i bought an aFORDable engine. 302 out of a 1989 mustang gt 5.0

    mounts

    it fit pretty good.

    rims came in. 16x9 +15

    2 bride bucket generic seats.

    bc coil overs came in.

the front coil overs had to be welding in to the spindle. a local welder who drifts with a white fc (Dan Chilton), did the job very well.

then there was about 1 month i hadn't worked on this car. i had an amazing opportunity for a job, at this point i had more money for something more important.

i sold the 5.0 (i still have the mounts if anyone is interested for 90$).

i bought a healthy s50 out of a 1995 m3. the motorset came with a uuc short shifter, turner motorsport chip and bigger maf. I'm in the process of doing a headgasket kit on it.

for the coil overs, i was hitting the perch on the inside with the front rims. a set of 15mm spacers for all 4 wheels with extended lug nuts fixed that.

car needs moar low, but will eventually get there once i put the engine in etc.

did some rolling while i had some free time.

    raceland headers

    powder coated magnesium valve cover

headers test fitted. (cell phone pics)

how it kinda looks without the mustang engine.

feel free to check out my related pictures/videos.
