Got some work done today. Finished suspension and brakes. The brake pedal finally got super firm after bleeding them again. I am impressed with how well they work for stock components ( must be the stainless lines). I took my car to get an alignment so my drive to Gutenfest will be nice... Then found out that the used radiator I bought at the junkyard was leaking. So I bought a new one for $109.99. Came back raced a rx8 from a roll and off the line beat him twice. Made me feel good and then started the priming & painting of bumpers, rear apron, and the valance.

Haha. I just really want a classic mini. I came to my senses work harder save more and have both. Ironically you are the second person to tell me they were gonna gut me today. Except the first one added they were gonna gut me like a fish... Are you coming Friday? I'll probably bring it up. I need to put some miles on before going to wunderwagens... You can drive it on friday if you want.

Got two tires mounted other wheel is at shop getting fixed ordered two more tires... cleaned out old radiator. No water at my shop is starting to piss me off...

^^^ me 2 I'm gonna pick up 2 tires from a local r3v member. I should have them on next week. I think I'm gonna need a set of 3mm spacers on the front until I get the shortened konis. It seems like guys running the shortened konis for some reason don't have rubbing issues on 16x9 et 15. I can't wait to detail it I'm buying a bunch of good quality stuff this weekend so next week I can find a spot in the shade and get it all shiny...

Just bought a new soft top. Me and another r3v member are gonna put it on soon. Going to pick up The other two tires today. For some reason I have a noise when I go over bumps in the passenger side rear! I checked all nuts and bolts everything is tight. Every time I go over a bump it make a noise. I think it may be the ground controls since they are not adjusted all the way down. gonna switch springs and see if noise continues...

Ok so originally I wired up the stock aux fan and it finally blew up. I purchased the Bimmerworld e36 spal fan delete kit. It comes with a 16 inch puller fan. However it does not fit it hits the water pump... I tried removing radiator and water pump but then I can't get water pump back in it's way too tight. Should I send it back and get a pusher fan? or should I try to rewire it and switch the blades around? Any ideas or help of any kind is appreciated.

I figured it out today and got the Spal mounted and wired up finally. So the car has new water pump, thermostat, fan switch, and Spal puller fan. Now I just have to change the brown top connector underneath the intake manifold so my temperature gauge will work. Which I'm gonna try to do tomorrow after work. Next is Soft top install and finally get the borbets mounted up before summer is over.
