    M50tub25 Build

I bought a 86 325es with over 200k miles (the odometer stopped working) in August of last year. The engine is on its last leg so I decided to do a 24v swap; so in October I bought an m50tu with s50 cams from a guy off this forum;). When I bought the engine the head was already off which wasn’t a big deal because I was planning on rebuilding it anyway. So far I have the engine fully disassembled and majority of the parts waiting to go in thanks to blunttech; I just need to send the block out to get it machined and I will be ready for assembly.

    The Car

    The Engine

    The Head

    Dis-assembly
Crank bolt- I had to heat it up and use my cordless impact to get it off

Looks like its gonna be a sweet build. Also, I have the exact same cordless 1/2 inch Snapon impact gun. Best 500 bucks I ever spent. Its one of the most powerful cordless gun you can get.

Looks good and seems you have all the bases covered on doing it right =)

Thanks for answering my question before I asked! I was wondering about that impact. I want to replace my other one for something with more power when I am in the junk yards.
