I'm pretty sure this was the source of the noise. Somehow I must have overtightened the nylock nut onto the heim joint. It was somewhat loose where it attached to the strut body and was a complete bitch to get off. It just spun...

Talked to Mark at GC and got a new one sent out along with a set of the taller rear shock mounts.

    Looking nice!

I traded emails with Andy from AMR yesterday and asked about e30 coilovers, he said he can do them easily and just needs to know what you want/get your order to do it. He is a really stand up guy, I love my coilovers.

    Neat!

Ever figure out what the small noise was?
I also have a very small clunk over certain low speed dips that I cannot figure out. I think it's my M3 endlinks at the housing joint.

Nice car Bob. I hope to catch up with you guys in MN in a year or so.
Haha, if you miss the curve you'll run into the fire station where I work.

Not much of an update, haven't driven the car since the show, been traveling and working on the yard. As mentioned the front end was making some noises so I dropped everything and completely went through it. New A-arms and sway bar links, pulled the struts out of the housings and completely went through everything again.

Also finally got around to mounting up my OEM skid plate. It actually fit quite well with the turbo piping much to my surprise.

Thank you, I'm glad I stuck with the 12v as well. M30's are monsters with boost.

Now the only thing left in regards to the TCD install is to put in the new fuel pump so I hope to get to that on Monday.
