ACHTUNG's Bodywork and S52 Project

Finally after 4 years of thinking about doing a S5X swap, it's come to fruition.

Over the past few months I have sourced the motor and all the parts needed for the swap and to convert the S52 to OBDI.

Dirty 96K S52 and all the parts (Oil Pan and pickup tube is going on tonight):


And while I get the motor ready, my local bodyshop guy is getting the E30 all pretty. There was some rust I wanted to get taken care of and while he was at it I thought it would be good to do a full exterior respray:

Yes, it's being resprayed the same color. I think there will be another round of sanding the whole thing before the respray though.

Love the shaved antenna, I really want to do that someday, along with shaving the little bump in the gas door. Right now, I just have a little flat rubber plug in the antenna whole, at least the car is black. :D
