Talked with a friend about what to do with the interior and he teased me with what he has in storage ...

          e30 m3 evo door panels

          "NLA"
Evo cloth and alcantara in back

Most likely will be purchasing these from him
          Recaro SRD's

Also has a TC Kline rollbar (also no longer available). Might have to copy his :)

Next week I'll be adding one of these for the diff

          Just worried about clearance issues.

I bitched out of the Rogue Engineering diff cover and went with an m coup diff cover instead. Just couldn't justify spending $ for a machine shop to weld in new diff mounts. Clearance would've been an issue as well.

Diff was leaking after the 3.46 install so I thought perfect timing to install the new diff cover today. As I was removing the diff cover bolts I noticed every single one of the bolts was loose... Couldn't do the install myself due to time constraints when I had it installed but this just proves to me to just do it yourself.

So after a few minutes I had the cover off only to find another nice little nugget of shit. The shop didn't even bother to install a gasket. :hitler:

I guess the shop decided the gasket was optional

Out with the old and in with the new

Checking clearance (about an inch and a half lower)

Next up either bushings or body work *cough* Levent *cough*

Not much of an update but had a chance to drop by Levent's shop (Gutenparts) and picked up a few things.

Finally picked up cup holders (coffee in the morning is a must)

                BMW Pedals

                Overview

Paint on the car isn't too bad

S4 will most likely be sold in the coming weeks which means I'll have more funds to throw towards the e30. Still thinking of what to do with the interior.

Hoping next few pics I take of the e30 the euro bumpers and mtech 1 kit will be on. Possibly the borbet b's as well.

Thanks Andrew. I ... can't imagine driving the car barefooted with these pedals and the dowels sticking out of them, lol.

I had those pedals in my AW/IR E46 M3....loved them - the owner of bmwpedals is super cool too. I'm looking to have a custom engraved set installed in my project car.

Keep up the good work man - it's nice to see another former E46M3 owner in a swapped E30!

                        :D

Did maintenance on the car today (car is currently @ 135,400 miles).

Pads, rotors, ss lines, brake flush, oil change, and changed out the front control arm bushings.

Buddy was disappointed I didn't go with a bbk so he "homemade" a kit for me.

Fked image but the brake fluid that was in the car was almost muddy like. Checked the amount of water in the fluid and it was in the red. Checked after flushing with Motul it's a go with green (no water).

                          Fked front control arm bushing

                          Treehouse racing fcabs and housing

                          I'd say it was fucked...

Thanks. I've paid more then double the cost of bmwpedals in the past and was pleasantly surprised how well these grip (wet or dry). Considering adding a 2x4 block of wood behind the gas pedal though.

What was ur screen name on m3forum?
