Vinyl will certainly hold up better than leather, especially in a convertible. If you do decide to go leather make sure it's 'automotive grade' and not 'furniture grade'. The auto stuff comes from the back of the cow (thicker) and is treated with chemicals to prevent UV damage. Furniture grade comes from the belly (thinner) and doesn't get the same treatments.

I don't know if I have the balls quite frankly! I definitely want to redo the seats not sure if its something that I can handle on my own though.

Uh oh! I'm probably overestimating but I think I'm around ~170/180k. I just hit 159k on the odometer after fixing it when I bought the car at ~152-153k.

For a recover. Not sure what Denis has decided on material yet...
Red Cardinal :D Leather? Or Vinyl? Me thinks vinyl will be a bit more durable...

I'm really hoping we can do red door cards/panels. I'm not sure the black door panels as discussed will look good.

    What do you guys think?

LOL this motor had 104k on it. Bottom is seized though. The head is really clean though and we couldn't find any damage.
