    2.8 strocker

Hey guys/girls I have decided to build a strocker for my vert 1988 325i. Here is a picture:

The reason for build is I screw up the engine broke a valve.

    F

In addition while doing some parts swaps, I discovered the previous owner intalled a 2.7 eta wtf! down grade. One of the reason why I am doing a 2.7 strocker. I already have block and an I head 885 casting. I will keep you all posted. Furthermore, I was thinking on doing a good write up on this build to make as a stiky if not already done.

I will be doing eta block, I head, larger ss valves, low compressio pistons Ross, h beam 135mm IE rods, 19lb injectors, miller maf sensor, war chip, cold air intake, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and a surprise. :D

Stroker* and what crankshaft are you going with? Only way you can get the 2.8 is getting a larger crankshaft. The ETA will keep you at a 2.7/i conversion.

so are you doing an m52 crank with a bore or are you doing the eta crank with a bore? either will get you to a 2.8, but you will be happier with the larger crank and a bore.

since you are getting custom pistons, the only extra cost will be the crank and the spacer.

BTW the rods are cheaper from JEGS/SUMMIT than from IE

Both Eta and M52 are 84 stroke fyi.

I am going to do the eta just cause I have it already and don't have to g around looking for M52 crank.

FYI no they are not both 84mm stroke. eta = 81 m52=84
