Says the guy with a 70 page thread on a simple NON VANOS M50 swap that took 6 months and all the owner did was cut checks and paint/prep stuff and hand wrenches to the mechanics. LOL

yes, it will be sick and I can't wait to finish it either but there is a long way to go still



the original quarter was not cut, it was retained for strenght, only the M3 quarter skin was welded onto the existing e30 TOruring quarter, the skin is very light, probably less than 5 lbs

Vlad just made an M3 touring happen so only positive thoughts and encouragement here.

and I'm curious about the plans for the rear end and tail lights... M3 rear bumpers always seem to look strange with late-model tails. Although, the touring factor trumps all doubts

I think on the touring it looks ok



and the doors will come off for more rust proofing and paint job
