So last few weeks since I got the car back from paint, I've but everything back on except the door trim. The car has been sitting on jack stands, taking my time ironing out the kinks.
First was the driveshaft flange tapping the top of the subframe over 4k rpm. Dropped the driveshaft and filed the edge of the flange just a little, problem solved.
Second, passenger side downpipe was leaking at the 3 bolt flange, installed new smaller bolts so I can actually get a socket around them, no more exhaust leak!
Third, and what I've been putting off most is the drivers side downpipe hitting the steering shaft on right turns, locking up the steering wheel.

My roommate had the day off work and decided to start cutting it up to notch it, and he made the patch too. Welding tomorrow and reinstalling.

Lastly, I have a power steering leak that needs to be addressed, other than that I still haven't finished putting the wiring in loom for the standalone fuse/relay center and that's it!

When pulling out the waterpump pulley - did you just use a regular 3-legged puller or do I need some kind of special GM-tool?

Been watching this thread for a while, and after driving Blunt's LQ4 swapped car, I think I might build my own...

    Well done, sir!
