bought s50 cams, injectors, and some things to freshen up while in there, ordered the chip. will install as soon as i have time. shocks are blown, ordering billy sports in a few weeks. stereo sucks, ordered new speakers....prolly buying a luke box soon. has lots of dents, lucky i work at lexus, having the PDR guy work on it when he has time. read the full thread and thanks for checking 'er out.

so i bought the car roughly three months ago from ill4noreason. he had taken a lot of the good parts out but i got a pretty good deal.

anyways this is how i bought it. came with startecs which i traded for a new top. replaced with 80%clear 20% base sprayed tails



second day i had her alternator went, known issue, thought we fixed...ended up leaving me on the freeway at 2am lol. AAA win. lucky i had friends who were happy to come out and help at 8am the next morning.


and the IS was installed


new wheels. wash/polish/wax and looking good


took it to the track, ran a 14.90...goal is to be high 13's NA.

momo corse wheels, ZHP knob. bought black leather interior, having my brackets made for my e36 m3 seats in a week or so(look out for group buy).



thats all for now. have TONS of parts in my bedroom waiting to go on. next weekend im going to be changing out the interior and cleaning up the engine bay.

it is a 1987 with front valence and plastic bumpers, just waiting till i have a chance to chop off a rear valence and get that on there.

Not too many cars pull those Borbets off very well. Yours does, and I commend you for that. Not feeling the tails though.

I will give you that, It was quite jumbled haha.


Personally Devon, the tails are the one part of your car I hate. How are those wheels and tires doing? For all seasons, they felt grippy as hell.

Looking a lot better now. I was happy when I saw it fly down the track today! beat the e36 m3 lol. New taillights, rear valance, space the rear wheels out, and It will be real nice.

just wanted to update everybody.
got the rear valance coming soon. buying s50 cams this weekend. few other surprises.

but fuck this car is pissing me off. crank sensor went out last week, fixed it. today my spal fan came loose on the freeway, ate my radiator, gotta fix that tomorrow.

tried to sell the car twice, first time i scared the guy on the freeway when i took it up to 120+, i smiled. second time, guy offered a large sum of money, but i ended up txting him "NO, its mine, you can't have it, FUCK OFF!"....

so i realized if i sold this, i'd regret it, rather keep the headaches and feel the accomplishment when i fix things.

Hoping for a solid 20-30hp increase when I'm done.
