So many of you guys that are complaining about not having a heated garage are giving up too easily. There are a ton of good heaters that will easily keep a 2-car garage around a comfortable 60-65, and they aren't that expensive.

I just swapped everything but rear seat over to black/houndstooth interior, so it's on to suspension/motor work and fiddly interior stuff.

            Here's my list:

-Decide on color, then refinish set of basketweaves & find caps for them.
-Do cap/rotor, do timing belt & H20 pump, probably new hoses too.
            -Flush tranny/diff fluids.
-New CSB & diff bushings. Replace both front wheel bearings (getting jack/jackstand to do this sooner than later).
-Find at junkyard/install new front crossmember & get rid of front end clunk (swaybar tab is broken off).
-Finish iPod dock connector to stock premium sound head unit and route to be clean.
            -Swap to 13-button OBC.
-Find black leather or houndstooth rear seat.
-Respray rear deck to be fully black, not faded to gray.
-Finally finish polishing up/waxing paint and polish trim.
            -Drop springs.
-iS or i lip for front end.
-Finish finding all tools in set.
-Fix odometer & update batteries in SI board.
-Drop tranny and replace all wear items to improve shifting.
-Keep it clean and drive it more than work on it finally.

I forgot to mention my Garage is more of a 3/4 garage then a one car garage. It is also half filled with Lawnmowers, and E30 parts.

My friend let me borrow his garage last year when I was doing my 5 Speed Swap / B27 rebuild. My only heat source was 2 crappy electric heaters. I usually dont notice temperature while im working on my car unless its too hot. I can deal with cold.

Heating setup, heater on bench that was it,

                – do a thorough wash/wax and interior vacuum
                – slightly over-inflate tires
                – stabil-ize a full fuel tank
                – storage

                – bodywork/paint/install of sparco bar
                – scuff and re-paint iS lip with a clear coat
                – save up for refinish work on euroweaves/tires/mounting for spring
                – give further consideration to purchase/paint/installation of a front rieger lip.
                – dream up new things to put on to-do list..

Fortunately I'm in a climate where I can take it out for a drive once every week just to keep everything fresh.

                  -suspension rebuild
                  -brake caliper rebuild
-redo the lighting and pull the hid till I do a retrofit
                  -sunroof realignment
-clean up the engine bay, washer tank delete
-rework jacking points that PO's neglected, you don't lift a car by them without having slots on the fucking jacks ARGHHHHh, thankfully a little bending + por15 will suffice
-give it a solid cleaning and weigh my options as far as doing something terrible to purchase a home

Got a pretty decent eye-roll from the wife tonight when I told her I was pulling the motor back out again. :D

Explained to her that all I'm doing is replacing a seal and fixing a problem with the oil pump, and she was cool. Having a wife that isn't necessarily INTO cars, but UNDERSTANDS my obsession is a very good thing to have.
