So I picked up another E30, and surprise, surprise, its red. So I introduce the new project, a Zinnoberrot '89 325is.
Here's some pics of the project as she sat today...
As you can see, she is very much worse for wear, but mechanically she runs perfect, albiet with an autotragic. She is all up todate on such things as timing-belt and other such services to boot.
Plans for now are pretty much geared toward using her as a winter beater for the little woman. Come drier, warmer weather I'll make the decision to bring it back the shine it enjoyed in its previous life, or to gut it, install a third pedal, and turn it into a track toy. I guess I have some time to decide...
For now though, I'll be busy fixing some things here and there, and replacing or repairing the obvious sheetmetal deficiencies. Updates to follow...
