    Thank you!

Ok so as I said the wiring has been giving us issues. We ripped the entire harness out and have been pulling another one out of our parts car. Well lets just say if you dont want to cut anything it's a 2 day job just to pull it out. Then install it back in at least another day. Not fun but have to be done.

    Parts Car:

    Our Car:

One nice thing we did get done is test fit the Glass Sunroof. It is super nice. Removed it and painted the trim on it to match the rest of the car.
The slider portion also went to be redone in the same suede material as the rest of the headliner.

I always thought the black headliner was way nicer then the tan. But then again I like black interiors.. lol

It is a big pain in the Arse. I have a local guy who did the fabric. Got it all sewn up and we installed it. I can put you in touch with him and he can do the same for you. For the E34's it's different so the install is easier.

On another note we are having to swap the complete wiring harness as the one in the car for what ever reason keeps blowing fuses and at one point was starting to smoke. I am not taking any chances. Installed a late model harness from a parts car known good.

so for the rear glass, you install the seal first with a rope wedge into it, then you lay the glass and pull the rope to bite over the glass (am I understanding it correctly?)

Correct.. The seal goes in then the rope and u set the glass in. And while tapping on the glass at the exact spot your pulling the rope up. You need 2 ppl honestly.

regarding new seals... what's the trick for that too??
On the side windows are your solid like on this car or pop out?
And on the rear glass we laid the moldings out to get there shape and then rope them.

No. Interior is getting re-done will take 3 more weeks before I get that.
The first set of seats I had got used up to finish another car.
Second set I got are not up to my standard of quality so I am not using those in this car.

So Im having a fully brand new interior done and that takes time.
Plus I will be out of town for Bfest East. Will be with Levent at the GPS booth along with Ethan 8380 Labs.
