    First update in a while!

update its been awhile since ive updated this build so here we go!

now that the cars up and together, it was time to tackle this nasty engine bay. first off, mr ugly coolant bottle

got a nice new one from BMW, and while i was in there, i delted the airbox brackets

i use airlift to fill and bleed all these euro cars, works first time everytime

next up was seats, i needed something to hold me a little better for drifting and had got a free pair of seats so why not, lets make some brackets.

first i weld two angle irons back to back

then make the cross sections and weld in

drill and bolt seats on a little paint makes it look factory

    Finished product

now its time to get some real suspension in this car, i opted to go with megans, because of price and adjustability

the only downside you have to run a decent spacer up front to go low with my offset wheels or stock wheels.

and maybe borrow one of these

then i threw in a rear strut brace for shits and giggles, it was free from a buddy

now its time for an alignment, im only running that much camber up front for track purposes.

then i picked up an aluminum e36 radiator, slim fan and headers

    headers

    new radiator bracket from bmw

    again

installed radiator mounted fan on the front

installed the headers, you can also notice the AKG solid aluminum swap mounts i installed (red)

a shot of the headers from up top

these f'in things are a tight fit

also threw in a 4ch kicker amp on the rear decklid to power all my speakers

flashlight looks cool on the headers

its come a long way from this

    to this

i love the rear stance on this thing

all for now guys! ordering asd hydro ebrake this week, that will be my next install

Thanks man, the exhaust is a free/ temporary solution to get the fumes out from under the car in all honesty its too loud for street use and i love the wheels to, i got them off of a 240sx with a ls1 in it lol

it has been a while since i had a chance to work on this project, but today i put a good 4 hrs into her and then got to drive it under its own power for the first time in a long time, still no brakes as my booster situation hasnt been figured out but thats the next thing, just nice because i bought it as a shell with no motor or tranny and i bought a scary looking engine that was outside with no oil cap and a cracked valve cover, so for this thing to be in and running is an excellent feeling finally after many $$ and hrs

thank you, the balancer looks like shit, but its really not that visable, i may just clean it up quick by dusting it with some flat black spray paint lol. thats all for now

You shouldnt need the delay relay. Try swapping the Fuel pump and O2 sensor Relays and see if that works. You may just simply have a dead FP relay.

If youre using a M20 starter with an M20 fw then all should be well assuming you shaved down the back of the flywheel or the oil pan...

after a few hours of tinkering today i got her to run! heres what i have for issues so far, if anyone can help me,

    1. no power @ fuel pump fuse?.... i started it by jumping the fuse, and the pump runs.

    2. wich manifold goes on the front? longer or shorter? obd1 95 325is mani's

    3. start grinds awfully/wont mesh, engaged 1/10 tries. motor is 95 325is, flywheel is shaved down single mass 1990 325is, starter is from the 90 325is, clutch is from the 90 325is, has anyone encountered this?

    otherwise shes in a runs!
