Mine came "powder coated" black but was really spray paint. One of those things where you live and learn. After all the messing around, the cuts, late night work sessions. The car is an absolute blast to drive. Getting back into my other e30 and going for a rip is ummmm slow.

Oh so you have it all running already.. That is sweet. Good going.
It like me going from our E30 M3 turbo car to a stock m20. Or my E36 Vert stroker to a stock M20.. just not the same. You get used to the power after a while and it feels normal but once you jump in to a slower car you get the difference right away..

Yea have taken it for a few rips around town before it snowed has been parked since. I decided to drive my other e30 for the winter just in case I get into an accident it has been apprasied and I will get more for it.

She turned over first try which was very nice and gave me that warm fuzzy feeling

Sorry to pick your brain: Did you have to make a custom driveline? or is there one that fits? and what rear end you end up using?

              By all means ask away.

I used the stock shaft with the quibo cut off and the stock yoke from a s14 welded on(s13 is the same yoke different diameter shaft. used s14 due to it came with). Still have the stock center bearing as I only had the front half custom made up for me. I think if memory serves me right the length from center u-joint on yoke to center u-joint before center bearing is 12.25". Currently has a 3.73 lsd but have done some research and will be swapping in some 4.10 gearing to put it closer to stock Nissan gearing.

I may do this in the 4 door that I have. So I'll have to pay a local CO to make one up for us. Problem is it's about $400 bucks. SR Motors are getting cheap so it's a ton of fun.

I only have three shops that make and balance driveshafts in my city and all are very closed minded. Nobody wanted to touch the shaft due to the quibo even tho I wasnt using it. Thus why I cut it off myself and took it in and told the shop it was two Nissan shafts. Cost me $420 and one day turn over to get it done.

Well summer time has come and I guess its time to start driving this thing as the weather is starting to get great out. Have just been working out all the little bugs with it. Will have a few changes coming pretty soon.

Here it is sitting hoodless for a meet

                    Heres a new engine pic....

Few of the new things coming are a newly acquired M tech 2 kit and a set of Borbet type C's. Dont worry I still have the Type A's they will make an appearance again soon...
