As many of you know, I picked up an 88' 325i convertible, schwarz on Cardinalrot. Brought it home from Boston MA on a trailer.

When I picked it up I was unaware of what to do with it, so decided that my dad should have his own e30, since he's been looking for one for a few years now and couldn't find one he wanted.
Since we picked it up non-running, we got to diagnosing why it wouldn't start. Owner said the motor seized as before it wouldn't start, it had a loud clanking noise coming from the engine, after tightening down the battery cable and it starting, we realized it had a broken rocker which was the cause for the noise, aswell as it needing a fully refreshed head due to worn out valve guides, it blows smoke like a train! For the past few weeks we did nothing but gather some parts together for jobs we should tackle while the head is off and their is access. A new cylinder head was ordered, timing belt, water pump, intake boot, top end gasket set and Head Bolts and a starter.

Which brings us to today, we dropped the car off at the shop and first thing tomorrow morning the work will commence and a checklist will be made for what the car needs, knowing my dad he will go all out and I don't mind it one bit
