got some good body work done. hope fully the car will be fully painted soon. a family friend owns a vynal wraping business and wraps cars for a living. I will be wrapping the car in vynal to cover the spray can paint job even though its 10000 times better then the paint job on there now lol. this thing is coming together a little faster then i expected thanks to the guys on here and e30 tech and my very supportive friends and familyComment

I love how you painted your tail light, side moldings, door handle, and bumper trim. Lol. Anything worth doing is worth doing right. A paint job is only as good as the prep work.
First time i ever picked up a paint gun. Not wet sanded yet.
Same here, painted in my driveway with a husky HVLP and no wet sanding or buffing

im getting the engraved bmw door handles but i dont have a close up of the handles but theirs tape on them its not painted but im thinking of painting them white untill i get the new ones because i hit part of with the sander on accident and took off some of the paint, also the part of the tail light that has paint on it it taped up. its hard to tell in the pics. sorry =( its not the best job but im not goign to paint shit like that. the rubber trim is in the worst condition and most of the places to mount it fell of so im going to replace that so i had no intentions of keeping it. all the shit ive going to keep on the car im doing a halfway decent job at for have no experience and or idea on what to do. also this is being painted with home depot spray cans not a spray gun. but u did a great job on the bikes..Comment

^that write up helped me a lot. wednesday and thursday will be more sanding and painting its going a little slower right now then i want it to be thanks to the holidays =(. but the good news is i just got paid. i have a few bills to pay off and i need to buy a new pait of running shoes and a weighted vest and then next paycheck i should be able to start saving money and then the real run begins. First im going to buy a worked machined head then ill start pilling in on the other stuff. Im thinking about uying the most costly parts first, brakes, coilovers, roll cage, head, things like that and get those out of the way. =) hope everyone had a great hollidayComment

I thought i posted it in the main part looks like ill need to be doing some editing. I was going to do a full m3 conversion but i decided aginst it. also ill be keeping the eta block and putting on a 885 head and just boosting that.
