Hey guys pretty new here have been lurking around and reading all of the info that is on this site and decided it was time to do a thread on my swap.
the motor i decided to get was a m52b28 because it has more tourqe than the m50b25 but was still cheap :) brought it home and checked the compression and number 4 cylinder was dead and the rest of the cylinders had low compression, so was like fffuuuuuuuuuu and decided to do a full rebuild
didn't get any pictures of the tear down but this is what it looked like on the inside
valves were covered in this crap also, gotta love crappy gas.
cleaned the block and decided i wanted to piant the block blue :p
oh and the car its going in to my 89 325i zinno
