Turbo may take a bit long than that, though. Not due to funds, just due to my requirements for where I want the rest of the car to be. I want the cage in, and I want the car to be atleast partially repainted by that time. Lucky, my interior is mostly complete bar needing a new dash, and carpet.

Within a year or so :P
Also give me your car. I don't have the money but I can pay you in v8 e30 rides.
Ok so update time.
Had to order a new $70 slave cylinder because they don't sell the rod individually
And here are the new(used) BBK headers
And tonight I ordered a B&M oil cooler kit. Tubing will be run through the driver's side high beam, yes indeed. I also ordered a Hurst shift knob. I know it's the wrong pattern, but still. Figured I'd get something a little less stupid.

So I actually had a day off between my 50+ hour work weeks to get some work done to get the car back on the road. I needed to put my new clutch slave cylinder on and I also wanted to get my new headers on. Since taking the headers off makes the path to take the slave out, I figured I'd pull those off first.
first I pulled the plug wires off after labeling their order.
Then started unbolting and pulled them off
Now, I had been warned not to use paper gaskets for the headers, and today, I learned why.
Here's a comparison of the new to old headers, and the new copper gaskets I had to put on.
While I had the rusty bolts off, I figured I'd wire wheel them and give them some primer and engine enamel paint. Before/ after
Also gave the "exhaust" a quick coat.
Now, while I was under the car I had another look at my tired, barely hanging on skidplate, and noticed something weird about the oil pan. I'll let the pictures do the talking, but the sides of the pan *use to* be flat.
Now it was time for the clutch overhaul of a new slave cylinder, DOT4 fluid and a heat sleeve for the braided line.
Got that finished up and bled, we bench bled it and held the slave high in the air to rid the line of any more air pockets. Got it back in and adjusted, and I'm still amazed; there is so much more feel and clutch engagement linearity than ever before. I love it!
So now some pics of the headers on. Would look better if the rest of my engine/ bay didn't look like trash. But that will be fixed soon!
