I am interested what this will look like when its done. I would've gone a different route if I was bumperless... like running no bumper or bolting on a 2x4

I can respect your ambition for taking on a project like this, I did kinda the same thing with a 74 Gremlin I had in High school. Hate to see all that work go to waste when you hit a huge pot hole like I did. I would highly recommend building the main structure out of steel tubing if its a look that you end up keeping.
