My new 325ic sexy

So i'm a BMW noob, I use to hate BMW but now I love them because thizzelle showed me the way. They are real and made out of heart and sole, real shit, real metal. I just bought a 92 325ic with a bunch of miles for a low price. It needs alot of TLC its been riddin alot. Here it is before and after the wash.
I'll be updating since it needs work.

Yes it's a pretty straight car, needs a new clutch for sure. I'll guide her all the way but i'll probably end up doing all of the work :) I have a bunch of spare parts to give her but next will be to clean the interior. now get to scrubbin!

Changed timing belt, water pump, thermostat, cam shaft seals, spark plugs, fluids, new hvac panel, OBC, rear convertible window and finally cleaned the interior! next will be new clutch and hopefully a radio. Pics soon fellas! Also I was planning on dying the carpet what would you boys recommend?

So i took my car to get smogged and it failed the 15mph test

it does have a rough idle that comes and goes, sometimes the car dies. should I clean out the ICV, could it be a air temp sensor?

did you drive your car for 30mins before smog test?

check for air leaks, clean your AFM, clean your ICV, check for exhaust leaks, adjust your TPS(can you do that on E30's?) if you can, do an oil change, filter change, general tune up, then drive your car around for a bit and go smog.

this is, of course, if you haven't done any of the above. If you don't pass again, you may want to purchase new O2 sensors and if that doesn't get it, it may be time for a new cat.

thanks for advice, did all of that stuff accept adjusting TPS. done all the checks in the hynes manual but haven't taken it back to smog. For the O2 sensor i just took a torch to the end and got the voltage reading and it shows it working, have a spare just incase but should work as is. tomorrow is the day for her to test it.
alot has happened to this car but maddy is one lazy girl and I'm trying to get her to update her post with pics but it's a struggle. I can do it but I'm trying to get her to respect the car by doing the work herself.
another note her car got broken into last night in Sac (shit city), the asshole cut her nice top open and stole only the shit ass CD player (one from pick n pull) WTF. Luckly I made her get full coverage on the car only a few days earlier because she wanted to drive it, so it should be covered but it's just a pain in the ass. And all this trouble now because of a cheap moron.
