87 BM-Truck

So I picked up this 87 325is auto from a friend and member here gofredo50. He hit somebody, bent the hood and rad support and insurance totaled it. I bought it back from insurance, used the suspension, wheels, tires, front seats in my 91 alpine (still for sale btw!) and then decided to make a truck out of it just because. Here is my story in pictures:

Day 1:
This is what I'm starting with


Engine bay

First step, remove interior

Including doors for easy access


Can I drive it from back here?

Probably not, but it looks cool

Now the carpet is out

Goal is to have it drivable by Guten fest, shouldn't be too hard right?

So I didn't mention some current style plans for the truck in my first post, so here's a couple things I already have for it: US ellip, euro bumpers, 5-speed swap, cammed m20 with bavauto headers. It's going to be low like Mike in RI's, prolly start with JOM coil overs, with air bags possible. Sunroof will be welded shut, diamond plate floors have been considered, but rhino lining is a definate. Spare tire cooler, waterproof ice and cd43 headunit.
