be careful with the temp issue.

replace the thermostat and coolant ASAP.
maybe even the water pump too.
i waited to long and mine blew up haha.

It never overheats it just gets to the line before the red zone , but it's still unnerving my friend and me are bleading the system this weekend and replace the thermostat if necessary it could be the aux fan but were not sure till we get to open her up this weekend.thanks for concern

make sure your fan clutch is good too.

mine never "overheated" but it rode around hot.
then my gas mileage one day hit the shitter, checked my oil and found coolant in my oil.
            all bad.
took it all apart, my thermostat was frozen shut.

I would most definitely consider that overheating. With a properly functioning cooling system these cars should never pass the halfway mark.

Congrats on the car though and welcome to R3V.

Good luck I would just overhaul the cooling system. Fan clutch, radiator, water pump, thermostat etc.
I want a nice set of smoked MHW's (I know, get it line)

I don't really have the capital to completely over haul my cooling system I'm going to check the fan clutch with a rolled up newspaper when I get to school

Ok the fan clutch is good I think the problem is air bubles in the system , I got a few wierd looks sticking a newspaper in my fan but at least it works
