I might actually want it back... I did like what Stuart's exhaust sounded like back when he first got the car without a gutted cat.

you bring me a stock one, I'll swap you. I've driven up to B-more enough this year, lol...

There is a small crack under the inlet pipe that you'd need to fix - should be a super-easy weld.

You know you want to hit up some Crazy Ray's on you way there/back. ;)

There is an 84-85 318i @ Hawkins Point right now if you need any more 318i bits. Wasn't too picked over when I was there last week.

Josh. I may be down that way this weekend. I will contact you. I'm getting some other bits and pieces for my other car from Mike R. Not sure how close you are to him.

IDK....I'm about 10 minutes from Yoshi, if you know where he lives. I'll be at work all day Saturday though (or at least til 4ish), home SUnday and Monday.

lol....well, 318i bits won't do me much good at this point since no more M10 in my car, and no more 318i suspension or brakes....

Finished getting my mudflaps on. Look pretty good, though I wish they were red. Might try plastidipping them.

Also put a cool new sticker on. ;) Thanks to Levent.

I kind of want to spice up the car a little bit with some vinyl or something (or maybe some sponsor stickers *hint*hint*). Or maybe some spray cans. We'll see what the future beholds.

In other things I noticed that I am getting a good amount of oil leakage around the oil pan, so this weekend I will be pulling the oil pan off and putting my new gasket on and inspect the bottom end since I've been having to add oil to it more frequently.

screw new gasket. Get Permatex Gray and use that instead. I just replaced my brand-new oil pan gasket (OEM) that was leaky with PT Gray....no more leak....ever.

                    Spencer-

I have about 12 cans (maybe more) of mixed dark red metallic spray paint. All of it is new and unused. Might that be of use?

As far as not using paper/cork gaksets for oil pans, I used "The Right Stuff" on my oil pan gasket. It was recommended to me by quite a few people & has been holding up great to boost ;)

^^ Right stuff is pretty similar to Permatex Gray functionally. As far as I can tell, the main difference is that Right Stuff can be torqued to spec immediately, but with Ultra Gray you let it set for an hour hand-tight and then torque to spec. I think they pretty much have the same sealing properties and blow-through resistance (though I could be wrong). Ultra Gray actually has a higher continuous temperature rating as well.

I've used both, and the end result material seems to have the same amount of elasticity and stiffness for both. Right stuff is for when you need to seal it immediately (like fixing it at the track during a race), and Ultra Gray is when you have time.

Right Stuff costs about 5x as much too :)

All valid points! Right stuff is supposed to set for ~20 minutes though if my memory serves correctly from the instructions on the bottle. It sure is expensive, you're right, good thing I was able to borrow a tube!

What about ultra black? I have 2 tubes of that. Wonder if that would work just as well? I think I have some ultra blue laying around somewhere too.

Dark metallic red? That may actually be of interest to me.
