Jackson's 87 325e m50 build

I bought this 87 325e about a month ago she's in decent shape shape. No rust, engine runs pretty smooth except for a high idle. The interior needs some work and exterior could use a fresh coat of paint.
I went ahead and changed the oil, spark plugs, injectors, air filter, recharged the a/c and tried to clean up the car.
I was able to source a M50 NV on our local euro forum with the transmission for $300 :o, all it needs is new coil packs and it will be good to go!. I'm headed to the salvage yard to pick up an e34 oil pan today so I'm slowly compiling the necessary parts to get this engine portion of this build going.
As I said she does need some TLC so I've been purchasing a new part each week to make sure she's in good condition. So far I've ordered:
-New Tie-Rods
-New Grills and Kidney
-E36 Steering Rack :o (and all of the parts for that swap)
-New hubs and bearings
-New Front Windsheild
-Nardi Personal Steering wheel with adapter.
-Poly Bushings

Items I'm looking for:
-New Headlights
-3.25 LSD
-Coil-overs or springs and shocks
-e36 radiator +electric fan
-"I" cluster

I'll do my best to update this build and take as many pictures as possible. I will most likely be asking many questions as this is my first BMW and First Build.

I stad corrected it is a Vanos M50! Does that change anything swap wise?

Nope. But it means there is a possibility the Vanos seals are shot. which will make a marble noise.
