Looking good! your roof rack turned out good but I was also gonna say you should put the slats under the crossbars I think it would look a lot better and help hold stuff in place like f34r said.

I only use it to put bikes on. I do think i'm going to rebuild it though with some different wood. It works good for now, it's just not structurally as strong as i'd like. When i rebuild it i think i'm going to put the slats underneath and then mount the Pieces that hold the bike on the cross members.
