A week off of work = backlogged maintenance :(

My PTO maxed out at 240 hours so I figured it was time to take some time off of work. I'm off all of next week and plan on accomplishing all (Some? Most?) of the below listed:
    • F&R Brake rotors, pads and sensors
    • F&R KYB shocks (spare me the crap - it's a non lowered commuter auto cabrio that clocks 6 non-highway miles every other day. It doesn't need billy sports and HR race nor does it require full coilovers on koni adjustables)
    • Install "refinished" m50 injectors (I cleaned them and installed the rebuild kit (o-rings, spacers, filters, pintle caps))
    • Replace intake/tb gaskets
    • Replace associated vacuum hoses and/or TPS if necessary
    • Change oil
    • Re-glue some parts of the new vert top that have come undone
    • Install new windshield washer spray nozzles
    • Install manual top tonneau cover latch/handle/cables
    • Install vert lukebox with 2 kicker 8'' subs, 5 channel amp and F&R components w/ crossovers
    • Install lamin-x - clear headlights and smoked fogs
    • Rewire HID relay harnesses and eliminate the check panel headlight error
    • Recover and install husco armrest - possibly locking it into the retracted position
    • Repair tach
    • Replace cat and pass inspection or pay someone to make it pass inspection - that is if my leaky injectors aren't causing the failure instead of the presumed faulty cat
    • Squeeze in a round of golf
    • Go to the skatepark
    • Listen to records and play foosball with my parents
Shit. After writing it all down it looks daunting. How many hours does this look like? I've done shocks, brakes and springs on several e30s. The vert sub box install may be time consuming....

Either way, I'll document my findings/photos here.

Here's some old pics of it so you have an idea what I'm working with (mostly for when I forget about this thread and fail to post follow up photos):

It now has us ellips w/ 4300k morimoto HIDs, kopi grills, a new top, 318ic F&R seats and a SFgadgetdiegogirl cupholder.

I wish I had the time and money to take on a list like that...

      Now I'm curious...

      Brakes/Shocks = $400
      Stereo gear = $700 ish
      Injectors = ~$65
      Gaskets/Hoses = >$5 (I love autohausAZ)
Wiper Nozzles = Had them forever = free because I forgot
      Lamin-x = $60
      Relay harnesses = $25
      Husco = $100
      Top parts = $50
ODO gears = had forever = free
      Misc additional costs + oil = $150 +/- $75
EDIT: Cutting tools and other supplies for vert box/stereo install/husco recover - $150

      Call it $1700-$2000?

I've had most of this stuff for a while so it seems cost neutral. Working at night doesn't allow car time but allows online shopping time. Also, don't feel too bad - I currently have 9+ hours left on a 15 hour shift in which I'm likely to stay a few hours late...

I would - but they eventually get all high and jacked up and then go to a crappy neighborhood bar to dance, drink and pound hepatit-o barflies at foosball. Not my scene. They also wake between noon and 3p which allows me plenty of morning work time.

EDIT: Just realized they'd fit in perfectly on r3v.

Wish I had a week to do my list. My next week off will be to take care of my newborn.

                Completed thus far:

                Foosball with parents
                Rear brakes and shocks
Almost done with the front brakes and shocks

                  Shocks and brakes done.

Otherwise, I've spent more time fucking off this week that I thought I would. I did, however, pick up some stinger roadkill for my stereo install. I also ripped my ellips and HIDs out. Completely sick of flickering and unpredictable lights.

Usually the same case for me. I took me over a week before I got around to replacing the passenger side interior door handle on a 88 Super Eta I picked up 2 weeks ago. I just knocked it out a couple hours ago & the whole thing took me 10 minutes to change out.
