Great build, love the details. Maybe convert the bumpers to flat black like the Base models in EU so nobody notices the holes as bad. When do the seats go out to Washington to get redone?

Thanks for all the comments guys! Regarding the holes in the bumper I knew going in they wouldn't be to everyone's taste, but they serve a purpose.

That said the bumper is still a work in progress. When I park the car for the winter I am going to pull the bumper and paint the insides of the holes flat black. The white fibreglass from drilling through the bumper rebar is what really makes the holes more noticable in my opinion. I am also planning on removing more material from the bottom of the bumper to get even more airflow. The idea of doing the entire bumper flat black is interesting though, I had never thought of that before.

I am also definately not going to paint my intercooler. I did look into getting it anodized black when I was doing the build. I ended up ditching the idea as it was an unnecessary expense. Maybe re-visit it over the winter.

So I went out to the friday night drags at the local track. Only my second time ever drag racing. I made 2 passes. First one the car jumped out of gear when I tried to burnout so the tires were cold. Got a pretty good launch and skated the car all the way down the track ran a 12.4 @ 113. Second run I got a good burnout but let the clutch out too fast and bogged down off the line had better traction with the tires warm though and did another 12.4 @ 117. Both runs I left on the launch control set at 5k RPM.

Here is a crappy cell phone video my buddy took of the second run. Mild launguage warning for some of my friends "commentary".

I think my LSD might be getting pretty tired as the car smoked the right rear alot more than the left. I also think my lack of experience and the 2.79 rear ratio are holding the car back as far as 1/4 mile is concerned. I am going to back next weekend and try for an 11 second pass.
