Okay.... The Chrome ring surrounding the Projector? Just behin the glass......
It's 100% for looks. It has no true purpose. It's actually bad because it throws reflected light from the glass into the air and causes glare.

So, Yes. The Chrome trim just behind the glass, I sprayed black On the extra set I had.

NOT THE INSTALLED SET. You can see the one I painted on the hood in the last couple of photos.

Liking the pictures, I recently started mainly using my 50mm for all my pics in my build and they look way better. Love this build by the way, you must have some pretty badass junkyards in your area. Keep it up, subscribed!

Luckily mine aren't broken. They are NLA from BMW but I have seen a lot of people finding one good one and making a set out of something else.

                        UGH! That really sucks.

I have two sets, mine on my car, and what came with the bumper
and yet I can't make any good ones out of them.....

I suppose I might have to get into some custom metal work to create some brackets...

To spare you wasted time, those E34 headlights won't mount to E30 housings, so any mods you do to those lights, will still only work on an E34. The actual light assemblies and the mounts are entirely different.

Just an FYI before you invest too much time into them.
