TrentW: thanks man, I LOVE my garage.
Dozy: Haha, yeah it is pretty tight in there. The manifold I made is actually bigger than the stock one.
James: CnB is all Blunt's job. Yes Sch40 for the manifoldLeave a comment:

There is a disturbing lack of CnB in this thread.
What material are you using for the header? Just Sch 40 or something?Leave a comment:

thats not much room to work with. Is that design going to be any restrictive though? great project btw!Leave a comment:

I had to roll it off the lift yesterday and thought it was a good time to see how it sits. Mind you the hood isn't on it and it is missing a fair amount of things from the engine but it actually sits higher in the front then it did with the m30.
Spent some time today working on the drivers side exhaust manifold today.

Really feeling these LSx swaps into older 5series. Do you have a mounting kit for LSx into E28? My uncle has been bothering me to do a motor swap on his e28 ever since he rode in my s52 swapped e30. i think LSx would be better than an s52 for the e28.Leave a comment:

Actually one time when I did reload the gallery I got a 503 error. Maybe you caught it at the same time.Leave a comment:

That's really not too bad. And like you said, being a V8, it can be pushed back pretty far.
Pics work for me.Leave a comment:

iron block vs alum is about 80lbs. This is pushed back 3-4" would say compared to the 30. I really should have measured.
Pictures are working for me...they are hosted on google's picasawebLeave a comment:
