This is all I have, from taking it off. My hands were covered in grease putting it in so I have no pics. Just imagine one bushing most of the way in and another ever so slightly shoved into the subframe. If only we had a press...

Came home to find that my dad and brother had been hard at work. They pushed in a subframe bushing and half of the other, and finished pressing in the TAB's. We had to take the subframe to my neighbor's because the bushing didn't wanna go in with our shitty vice that's bolted to nothing. We ended up getting the trailing arms mounted on the subframe. So much for having it driving by monday, but there's no real rush.

Got the subframe on today. Should be driving by wednesday if everything goes smoothly. When it comes time to do all the rear bushings in my car we should be able to do it all in a long weekend.

Whoa no updates in a while. Well, when we removed the diff, we accidentally pulled off the back of the driveshaft, not realizing how much of a bitch it is to get back in. So we had to take the entire exhaust off from the headers and drop it down to line up the driveshaft correctly. This has been taking a while, but we finally got it all off and we're pushing the driveshaft back on. It's kinda a PITA to push on though...

And the heaviest heat shield on the car fell on my fingernail. That was probably 3-4 hours ago and it still sorta hurts.

I don't believe my dad has ever heard me yell "FUCKKK THAT FUCKING HURT" as loud as he did today. Also, did you remove the collar nut on the top of the rear part of the drive shaft and put it on the front end before putting it all back together?

I never actually took it out, just dropped it down off the transmission since I pulled the engine and trans. And it turned into a parts car for my other one so I never put it back together.

Got the driveshaft and diff on today. We got all the heat shielding and one of the exhaust mani's on too. The other ones being a major pita and won't go on.

Oh, and we already have something new to fix asap:

Replacing all the CV boots while you're at it wouldn't be the worst idea in the world

We were going to but didn't get around to ordering them and now it's already so far together that I'd rather just get the damn thing driving while the boots ship in and then replace them. My dad decided to call it a day, but he's gonna work on it a lot tomorrow.

grrrr. i think i need to replace one of my trailing arms from an accident the car was in a while back.
It looks like so much work :(
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

Honestly it's not that bad if you know what you're doing. We would have had it driving by now if we didn't accidentally take off the driveshaft. When it comes time to do my car it'll probably be like a weekend's worth of work.
