        Little update.

I was able to find some time today to send down the engine bay.
Not totally finished but pretty close to it.
Starting to see the white again.

Been slacking for a while. Had a whole lot in my plate lately but I was finally able to order some parts and get some work done on the engine bay.

Some of the parts that are already here. Waiting for some more.
            New piping and some hardware.

Engine bay after sanding and cleaning.

            Engine bay primed

            Finally engine bay painted.
Not my best work but oh well that should do it.

Finally received all my parts on Wednesday so my objective is to have the car running by Saturday night.

Installed the new set of pedals.

Started messing with the headlight harness. Haven't finished it yet since ADD kicked in

McGivered the shit out of that trans. It is not pretty but will do the job for right now.

Transmission on the engine. I honestly thought that I was never gone see that day.

And the engine is back where it belongs.

Started connecting everything until I got to the rear head/heater core cooling pipe. I can't remember how that thing goes. About to do some research.

Sucks to hear about that shipping issue.

                    Thank you guys.
Haven't really had time to update the thread. Those last 2 weeks have been a race to finish it but the car is finally back together. Well almost just missing couple of trims and small stuff that I still need to find.
I was able to drive it on Monday to work, the ride was a little scary since the tires are shot but other than that the engine ran fine and smoother than I expected.
Haven't took many pictures yet, I'm gone try to take some tomorrow since I may put my set of wheels for trade. Not sure yet.

                      5 Speed swap wiring harness

Just a FYI, I didn't really look on what was needed for a 5 speed swap and didn't know why my car wouldn't start at first.
After I checked the wiring schematic, I found out that automatic cars have a relay to active terminal 50. (12v to start from ignition key)

I've seen a lot of people cutting and soldering a bunch of wires and it seemed pretty complicated to me ( I don't like messy harness) so I figured I would just do my own and share it with whoever needs it.

Here is what the schematic looks like

Once you turn the key all the way to terminal 50, you'll have the 12v signal going from the key to the relay through a black wire.
And from the relay to the starter through a black and yellow wire.

All you have to do is find the relay.

Find the black and black/yellow wire.

And basically jump them. Some like that

It worked for me and I like it better than cutting everything out.

Another way would been to just remove the complete relay socket take all the section that you find on the right side of the schematic and just keep that black and black/yellow wire.
To me jumping just the wires seemed like the easiest way to do it.
The weight difference wouldn't justify me spending all that time removing everything.

it will be the neutral park switch that you're talking about.. Car will only start when its in the Park position.. easy fix.. bridge the wire at the switch so it thinks its in Park constantly
