Yeah there's no way I'm putting that thing back in. I was hoping to find a cheap-ish selector rod to hold me over until I refresh it all, do a shorter-throw lever and dssr.

Well I finally got new suspension parts ordered from GC. Should be here next week sometime. Can't wait to get rid of the stupid clunking noise!

New front inserts/shocks, new spherical bearings for my camber plates and new adjuster screws to replace my seized ones. Speaking of which...

PSA: DON'T OVER TIGHTEN YOUR GROUND CONTROL ADJUSTER SCREWS!! They actually weld themselves to the nuts if tightened too much...

Well since my car is stuck up on jacks I decided it was a good time to do a little tune up.

Changed the oil, replaced the air filter (have I mentioned how much I hate the stock airbox?), found out my intake elbow is torn :(, and replaced the fuel filter. Hopefully that helps with the 2nd-gear coast chugging.

I'm pretty sure this thing hasn't been touched in 23 years... lol ice cream pail.
