Picked up a set of E30 Steelies from iamcreepingdeath. Gonna mount some 175/65 snow tires on these bad boys. This car, with the LSD and these wheels/tires is gonna be a beast this winter.

I wanna pick up some weaves, but the ones on Craigslist right now are black (bleh) and I don't think I would have enough time to refinish (i.e. spray paint them up to my standards...) them before I leave for school... Besides, the bcaps will be off and shoved in a corner next summer.

Thinking about picking up a beat XJ to take next year though. Keep the miles off the thirty and the Jeep would be tits down there with all the off road shit. Or a lolvo 240 or something indestructible and cheap.

Go with an XJ, put some Le Sabre vents in the hood to prevent overheating, and some 31' BFG AT's or something.

I know! I like the look of steelies more, but my tires are so bubbly right now, on the bcaps, if I switched them over to the steelies, being 1/2 an inch skinnier....it would be awful. Besides, bcaps will be gone next year :D

There was one of those with a 350 slammed in it for $500 locally. I thought about it....but the rest of the electrics were probably toast, so I passed.

Love the bodies on those old Jags though.

You can just unplug the srs cables so the light wont come on.
