That's the way to do it. No shoddy OBD1 crap like I recently did/re-did. And watch your skid plate, ask me how I know.

Yeah OBD2 swaps are so easy now-a-days it's not even funny. I am definitely interested to see what happens with the skid plate... Maybe I'll pick up another set of wheels for a more reasonable ride height or something, idk.

Also I went and explored a little today. I need to find some place to put this silly roof box. Surprisingly it barely makes any noise when driving around which is pretty cool.

A 24v won't be the same. Just isn't the same!
Characteristic wise, the m20 will always have my heart.

Do a little stroker 2.7 build with 885 head and turbo.

Unfortunately no turbo until I have 2 cars... can't afford to, possibly, make it less reliable :\

Build it out of the car and make it reliable. I personally do not care much for 24v swaps because I think the motor looks too modern for the car.

Have you considered an m30 swap?

I'm still saying 24v. An M52 might not be worth it if the m20 runs strong but an S52 would.

M30's are cool but I don't think it would fit the direction I want to take my car... I think a 24v would look right once I get my car to where I want it. Bags, shaved-ish bay, new paint etc.

                            But turbo M52...

Ported my rear seat today. It wasn't a pretty sight but the end result isn't bad.

Ended up being a lot more tedious than I expected. Luckily after 20 years of being in the car, the ski hole pass through left a definitive mark that made it easy to guide the cutting.

                              One in.

Two in. They look slightly crooked in the picture, which they are. But, in real life it isn't quite as noticeable.

                              Not pretty but it'll do.

                              Stupid foam...
