    Update:
My steering wheel finally arrived today, after a 3.5 week wait from Germany. Picked this up for pretty cheap in the end compared to the usual asking price (at least I think so) Genuine Alpina 360mm. Has the switchtronic buttons on it, which to be honest I hadn't seen befor. To be completely honest I am not sure what specific model this was originally from, but have been on the hunt for an Alpina wheel for a while now, this one came up at a good price so I grabbed it :) Still on the hunt for a matching gear knob btw

Will be going on the Touring

Touring won't be on the road for about another week or so, I am probably going to keep the BBS on the coupe now.

I ended up ordering another set of wheels from the US which should be here in a couple of weeks. Will post pics and details when they eventually arrive ;)

Thanks mate :) For the coupe I had Ground control make me up a kit with shortened struts, Koni shocks, eibach springs and the GC coil over sleeves. Front has another 20mm of threads left but the rears are maxed out.

I used to have the front maxed out but only left me with 40mm ground clearance from the skid plate.

Thought I would chuck the BBS RS onto the coupe, since the wagon is taking it's sweet time to get engineering/RWC. Can't leave the wheels sitting gathering dust...

Specs: 15x9 +3 and 15x8 +12 (no spacers, natural camber)

Looks good they said, will be fun they said....

First drive out with the new wheels with the missus in the car, hit a crappy risen tram line on princess hwy and BANG!! cracked sump again... Didn't help that the bash plate is pretty much fucked so really does nothing...Looks like it's the train until the new sump AND new bash plate arrives. Or if the wagon finally gets finished...

Spoke to the engineering place last week that have the car at the moment. Turns out the engineering shop in sydney that did all the compliance work for the car did a rubbish job and the Melb place won't pass it until it has been re-done. All fine apart form the side intrusion bars, which were only sikaflex/urethaned in (not welded like they should be) They called the sydney place and tried to get them to pay for the fix, but wouldn't have it (no surprises...) so now it's going to cost me another $300-$400 per door to get it re-done... Awesome. Oh well, will be worth it in the end...

Also, even though I have the bbs for the car, I couldn't help myself and bought another set of wheels lol to be honest bbs RS have been popping up on a bunch of other cars here in Melbourne... Needed something different. Will have pics of them when they arrive (about 3 weeks or so i hope, custom sizing means waiting times)

Mark D never got back to me about the performance chip either :( coming from the Honda scene where parts were in abundance, it is hard to get used to the difficulty of finding any decent parts for the e30. Even getting a reply from parts companies is hard :/

Surprises me because there seems to be a huge following for modding the e30.

Not ready yet unfortuneately :( put it in to the engineers/RWC guys last week monday and it was meant to be ready for wednesday... Still haven't heard back and they still have the car. Will call them monday and see whats up.

I have been working night shift so have been sleeping during the day anyway. I was going to bring the coupe to Hardtuned but i am working sunday night :(

haha thanks mate :) and don't call me Holly.

I am still on the hunt for headers, if anyone can help out let me know. Am looking mainly for a set of raceland headers, have had a few people on the Aus euro forums talk them up (for the price anyway) so sound like the best option for me at the moment.

Long headers? Any suggestion as to where from? I am trawled the net and only found one place that seems to still sell headers for the e30 325i... I sent an email to them but waiting for a reply still.

So you would suggest going to a single 2.5" over the current twin pipe setup?

I want to keep using my current twin pipe scorpion muffler so I could always get another y pipe put in to match up to the muffler. Once I have found a decent set of headers I will look at getting the rest of the exhaust done.

Also, just sent an email to 'Mark D' about a chip :) see what he says.

Thanks for the info mate :)

Thanks mate :) the r's will be in as soon as the Rego/engineers stuff is sorted.

Yeh thought as much... As soon as I popped the center cap off and saw the multi-stud I knew something was up...
