    My Cirrusblau E30 Sedan Project

For the last 3 weeks, I have been working on my 1989 325i. It jumped time and bent all the valves in January, and has just been sitting in my carport. I have finally got the project rolling. So far, I have taken the engine and auto trans out, sold the auto trans, and taken the head off. I picked up a rebuilt head Sunday. I'm in the process of cleaning all the parts and my engine bay to get ready to put the engine back in with a 5 speed attached.

Only one pic for right now. More to come tomorrow.

I almost forgot. I'm going to clean and rebuild my injectors while I have everything taken apart. I have them ready for new filters and seals.
The tip, lower O-ring, and spacer has been removed. Haven't gotten the upper O-ring off yet.

    Filter removed.

I forgot to get before pictures of my project, but here are a couple more I did get.
      My makeshift work area.

      Cleaning up the engine bay.

Doing DIY shadowlining and straightening up my lower valence. Also painting my grilles and kidneys.

      Painted my intake manifold.

Finally one decent picture of the car.

Tonight, I got the new seals and filters in the injectors, got the head bolted down with the new head gasket, got the rail and intake manifold bolted up, and installed the new timing belt. Didn't get any pictures of the actually assembly.

I'll take a good bit of pictures from here on out.

Haven't done much on the car in the last week. Just been busy working. I did get the engine completely assembled, and got it ready to go in. Going to get the engine in the car in the morning.
Got some pictures my girl took.

Appreciate it! The blue matches the blue in the BMW emblem pretty closely. Accents the color of the car also, I thought.
