I've been procrastinating this for a long time and Bimmerfest East 2012 was around the corner. I needed to get this done before making the trip to MD.

    Cutting the old out

    More cutting

    Power washing the diff cover

Not 100% clean but better than it was before

    New Revshift poly bushing installed

Original plan to refill the diff with the funnel and tubing didn't work out, so a better solution was found.

    And done!

Picked up some fogs off the forums, I was tired of seeing the emptiness on the bumper lol.

Yea at first I thought it was strong enough to withstand severe punishment but I guess not. It has saved my oil pan a few times tho, just gotta be more cautious when driving down shitty roads. In the future I'll be looking to get the severe duty skid plate from E30 Motorwerks, then I'll have no worries:D

I love them! It's a nice and comfortable ride for my daily driving, for the price they go for I can't complain at all.

At the time I didnt know the BCs offered custom rates/lengths etc. or else I would of went with the shorter springs to avoid a spacer.....but I was going use one anyway lol.

The CSB was getting worse so it was time to replace it.

    Markings made for reinstall

    Clearly it was shot

The bearing itself wasn't an easy task to take out since I didn't have a press.

So ended up getting it air hammered out

    New one install

To end the day after a successful install:D

Just a little update. Replaced the waterpump and tstat which ended up being a pain, the waterpump that is. I guess it was so seized that when I started hammering the shit out of it it broke in half.

Luckily my buddy came to the rescue and used his air hammer to break off the remaining piece
