Why reinvent the wheel? What's wrong with the factory pedal box?

Because you're "mock" assembly has the master installed upside down.
Might want to correct that before you actually install it.
its not upside down its a floor mount pedal fyi

and yeah I went to the car and test fit it - Im going to have to rethink my plan.

Perhaps return this pedal for a swing mount one.

I skimmed through this thread and was reminded it has almost been exactly a year since I have owned this car. 10,000 miles and she has treated me well!

A recap of what I have done (not in order):

    - 2.5 single catback exhaust with magnaflow
    - Replace Valve Cover Gasket
    - Clean ICV
    - Replace Oil Pan Gasket
    - Changed the oil twice
    - Repaired my radiator with JB weld.. lmao
    - G.A.S. full E34 stereo
    - Replaced front seats and got an m5 drivers seat <3
    - Detailed the paint
    - Bought some wheels :)
    - VOLVO LIP!!!
    - Frenched headlights
    - TRE fuel pump

I cant remember much more... but this car has only stranded me once - due to a bad fuel pump. She once didnt start at home, but a clean ICV and some maintenance it needed anywyas got her going tip top.

My exhaust has finally broken in and is sounding very good, I love this car so much.

My OBC display went dim a few days ago so I pulled that today, only to find the bulbs I need to goto a dealer for. I also pulled my cluster (without removing the steering wheel!) and replaced my 3 main bulbs for that.

For the first time in nearly a year I now have a working light for my speedometer and gas gauge LOL.

In the past couple days I had noticed a noise from the front of my engine that I traced to the waterpump alternator belt.

Investigated the noise today and of course the fan clutch was a bitch to get off this time! Cut the AC belt off because it doesnt work anyways and found that my water pump has shaft play... wonderful.

Parts on my list to purchase:

    ZF320 + flywheel
    Sachs Clutch Kit
    Nissens Radiator
    Graf Water Pump
Z3 Short Shifter + ZHP Knob
.. and loads of maintenance items associated with 5 speed (CSB, guibo, tranny seals, etc.)

I remember you had a thread a while back on alternate clutch operation. For this are you just going with a regular pedal?
