I do, but its last on the list of to-do's at the moment, I want to get everything else refreshed before that point. Right now I'm planning on July or so when I deploy again to drop it off at a paint shop before I leave, have the belt trim and side reflectors shaved and have it painted something similar to British racing green, maybe oxford green. I'm a big fan of darker green colors

cool build! Those welds look a bit iffy to me but if a pro said they were good to go then go for it. Can't wait to see how this unfolds. My buddy has a 72 Bavaria and I love that thing. Keep it up! In for more

the guy who runs the hobby shop is a retired welder, and unfortunately because of liability reasons he couldnt do the welding, but he was more than happy to help me out, the picture on the earlier post was the first strut I did, and it took multiple attempts, but after the 3rd time hitting it he said it was solid, the 2nd strut i got right the first time, still a bit ugly but not near as bad as the first one

Late fall I am planning a trip to AB NM for a few weeks, I would love to give a hand wrenching on this beast.
Was this an auto at one point? I know they come in standard, just finding the parts is hard I bet.

I am all for turbines...but have you thought about BBS RC090? The turbines look too raceish, the BBS RC090 are baller to no end.

for this car it was a toss up between the turbines and style 5s. But ive been in love with m system wheels ever since davelengths convertible

Not knocking the turbines one bit, I just think this car has a classy flare to it vs the e30. The RC090 have been done over and over, these are rare to see so props and continue!

They said that it wasn't needed because there was also the fort carson and Academy auto hobby shop nearby. Cool if you live in town, but either one of those is an hours drive from those stationed at Schriever. Funny thing too is that the hobby shop was the ONLY profit center for services on peterson. Dumb.

small update: installed the rear coilovers today and threw the turbines on, next on the list is either work on the brakes or or work on refurbishing the rest of the suspension
