Got the M30B35 out of the engine bay today and got the LM7 on the engine stand and started stripping it down. After that I went to town on the floor, stripped the driver side to bare metal and put a couple coats of por-15 down

probably the most impressive thing to me so far is how little rust is on this car, at 40 yrs old I haven't found a single bit of rust on the floor pans

Got more done on the interior since the last post. Been TDY for the last month so it was good to get back in the garage. I finished laying down the POR-15 on the floor and started putting down raammat today. Also bought a pair of Recaro LS seats, they're a bit rough but hopefully I can clean them up

installed the ensolite foam layer yesterday, mounted the fuse block and started routing wires

received my motor and trans mounts today, big thanks to JakeB! They are the mounts he produced for the e12 lsx swap and should do the trick. I also received my carpet yesterday, 3 yards of wool multiloop carpet from GAHH.

Very cool, 5.3L wake up very well with a cam and exhaust but heck E85 ready with maybe 7 pounds of boost would be killer.
