      - e90 drophats (already received)
      - 4.5" bbs lips

Seriously tho nice e30. Fix it right and then find another car to be your winter beater.
This x1000. I wonder why your other BMW "kicked the bucket", I doubt lack of maintenance had anything to do with it.

haha another interwebz toughie. if you dont know my past projects dont speak up about them. maintinence had nothing to do with my decision to get rid of it.

i ordered all those parts BEFORE i even took delivery of this car. so relax your balls guys. sorry i forgot the interwebz is srs bsns

had time to do a little clean up work. whoever installed the stereo really FUBAR'd it. i ripped out everything and re-wired it myself. new front and rear speakers. i had a spare sub and amp so i threw those in, as well as some shitty sony deck until i can find the replacement one locally that i want. got rid of the shitty pioneer front speakers too. i mounted the amp inside one of the rear cubby holes. i'll monitor the heat and see if i have to add additional ventilation.

finished my roof rack up as well. custom elongated to fit the roof of the touring. it will look fantastic once the rest of the interior comes together.

and here are the winter wheels for my miata to sit on. xxr's with hoosier r6's

oh hey look what finally showed up today!!!

yeah i didn't want to say anything to sound rude. but the RM's are a 2 piece with just the removeable lip. no way to change just the barrel. and yeah that wouldn't effect the lip of the wheel anyways.

i am not the first person to try fitment like this on an e30 and i sure wont be the last haha.

and i believe the colour is malachut-grun metallic. i just had to look it up. pretty unique eh

So I got the winter slicks mounted to the miata. That will give me time to start tearing into the bbs for the rebuild! I'm excited for that. Tomorrow I planned on starting the coilover install but I cleaned out my storage locker and zomg! It took aaallll night. Sigh

                    cool e30T though.

it's about the most unoriginal name for a wagon in the world... so neither of you are the first

so its been quite a while since ive updated this thing. alot has been done, BUT NOT ENOUGH. parts have been killing me. and this touring is rough as all hell. the more work i do to it, the more and more stuff keeps piling up on the need to replace badly.

installed the coils. that was a horrible ordeal. im running e90 drophats up front, no spring pads, one collar removed. in the rear im running no spring pads, no adjustment sleeve or collar. that being said i didn't slam it the first day. im letting the suspension break in first.... literally...

first thing we notice doing the coils, both engine mounts are FUBAR. both front sway bar end links need replacing. control arm ball joints, and steering rack ball joints need replacing. rear sway bar end links need replacing. drivers caliper slider pin in seized. and it sounds like one of the e-brake mechanisms is loose inside of the rear brake and sometimes makes a loud bang... ugh... THEN came the front strut tubes. both king nuts were so fucked we had to go pick up a second set of front strut tubes. we spent about 3 hours trying to get the struts out of the tubes with no luck. **edit** oh yeah and 9km after the install the rear shock mount blew... the old ones were in fabulous condition, and since i've never owned an e30 before i didn't know they constantly blow out. so i picked up a replacement pair, one got installed and then the second new one, the pressed in stud snapped almost instantly, THEN we couldn't press out the stud as it was almost welded in. so that fucking sucked as well...

everything on this car needs replacing. every single fucking thing.

anyways, once everything got installed, i now have this very loud "tire roar" sound. rpm specific. there is no rubbing anywhere. wheel bearings are fine, brakes aren't touching. jack up the car and everything seems fine. so ive narrowed it down to maybe an alignment issue. maybe one of you can chime in on that.

split my bbs again and painted them a high gloss white with a flake clear on them. they turned out good enough.

anyways, its been just one thing after another and im sick of the car. but my fender roller and new lips came in the other day. so i test fitted one of the 9.5" wheels in the rear. im not done rolling, thats just a rough draft.

so here's a taste of the 15x10.5 et-19. shouldn't be hard to fit. AINT' NOTHING BUT A PEANUT
