    E30 Trailer

Ive seen a few of these around on the web, and always wanted to have one to haul parts, tires, even my drumset, around.
My boss and I picked up a decent 2 door with no title for parts, sold the engine and started stripping the rest. Sofar all Ive done is remove the roof.. Took about 1/2 hr including cutting the glass out. Next will be slicing it down the middle at the door jambs, and I have to figure out what Im doing for a tongue and a front bulkhead.

Anybody whos done this and wants to share some info on how they fabbed the tongue would be great. I dont know how beefy the stuff really needs to be, But I have an old boat trailer for an 18' boat I can scavenge parts off of... It just seems a little overkill.

Oh and BTW, the guy we bought it from wanted those VW BBS rims back, and I said sure... then I went on ebay and saw sets of them selling for 1000.00. Oops

Still not worth it since they are silly soft and bend just looking at a pot hole.

RZ or forged RG's would be nicer any day.

They're worth nothing to me, I have 5 lug... But it would have been nice to sell them and make a few bucks.
