Turbo output pipe is done you can see how tight things are but I still manage to keep the EPS :)
You can the pipe that crosses over to the other end its very solid and vibration free and not lower the the cooler.
On the other side the turbo output pipe will go threw the throttle body that then leads to the input of the Supercharger...then out the supercharger--> in the front intercooler and out to the engine. Supercharger is now installed with a proper coupler and t-bolt to handle boost in the input (before it only saw vaccum)
I took a break and installed half the exhaust which fits very very nicely for a 3" exhaust. Loving the CXRACING stuff so far everything fits very well. Am getting really really close to the first startup....stay tuned!
ive done the research and tried it and it doesn't work, think of what happens when you pour oil into a funnel too quick,it backs up and burns. Our drain plug is a puny m12 and the hole is too small in the fitting. Turbonetics recommends a drain line no smaller than 1/2" but preferably 3/4". If you make a small reservoir inline it could function better but when it comes to performance you should do things the right way first. I've learned my lessons with my build, my original budget was $1500 and now I'm at 3k
and my car doesnt even run yet.
I get you on the budget...but trying out the oil drain method is just research and ease of doing it. Cost me 1 dollar and welding but from what your saying i will end up buying a proper 3/4 fitting and drilling the oil pan and thats fine.
but first lets see what happens.... I will make sure my crankcase is fully open with no restrictions.

Plus you have residual oil pressure pushing the oil through the drain tube. As long as your turbo drain port is above the oil line, it will drain fine no matter where the drain fitting is mounted. "

I have personally run my oil drain to the drain plug when I was too lazy to pull the oil pan and and it simply doesn't work:( your turbo will smoke after pulls and long idling, if your oil pan threads were like 3/4npt it may flow enough but it will not work being restricted down into the stock drain plug hole.

Turbo side is done....finished the oil return. This will spark controversy but I read about it and a lot have done it successfully. I made my own half barbed / oil pan bolt...forgot to take a pic of it. Its very secure, very tight. The 3/4 inch is like 2+ feet long and the only way this work is on top mount turbo setups with long oil returns...I will be testing it before it leaves the garage.. **All the oil fittings have high temp sealer applied to the treads.

Still waiting to receive the last 90 degree coupler and T-bolts to finish everything. So last things to do before first start.
1)Finish turbo output piping to Supercharger
2) Reinstall supercharger and finish inlet for boost
3) Throttle body fittings for AIC and Brake booster need to make them solid so they dont pop out with boost
4) install exhaust
** prime turbo with oil...then do startup and check for oil leaks..
last but not least
1) ARP head studs
2) 60# injectors
3) tune, Dyno and have fun
this has to be my favorite build thread in years, congrats and im going to be very excited to see some numbers and videos!

For numbers the dyno is located 10 minutes away from my home and the dragstrip is 15 minutes away...cant wait!! especially to get some real action videos
You will also have to let me know how you like that turbo, Im looking into the same turbo setup.
the ETA is probably going to be april 1st or end of April... For sure I will review how the turbo performs... I will be running its 8PSI stock setup it wont be pushing a lot since I will have 10 psi already with the Supercharger
