Maybe it's just me, but that looks like it was an Active Autowerke shifter knob.

I have one too, the lights that are on is the brake lining light...which is probably right, cuz I need to new brakes...next week, and the other is the motoroil level light, which I think is not hooked up, so hopefully once both of those are taken care of Ill be good to go
