    84' 318i 302 V8 SWAP

Thought I'd try out my first hobby car, I saw one of these 4 door leave a gallardo standing still in my neighborhood and ever since I've wanted one so here are some pictures of the WIP

1984 BMW 318i with a M10 Engine doing a M52 swap. Removed hood to reduce weight, also removed rear seats I'm in the process of removing the engine and tranny. (I'm selling everything you see so let me know if you need anything)

    Need more room!

I don't know how baked I was when I said I was doing an M52 swap, I'm actually doing a m30b35 swap here are some WIP pictures, planning on ripping out the engine this weekend... when I buy a hoist.

Can't decide if I want to put in the effort to pull off M3 front and rear fenders.. they do look nice.

Love me a M30/E30, favorite swap on these cars. Seeing as you're in Edmonton you might already know Raxe here on the message board. He's over at Eurasia.

I don't know what your plans are but I would do the B35 with a 2 into 1 2 1/2" single exhaust. You would probably also want to use a lighter flywheel such as a 533i or lightened e28 535i one. I would go with either a 3.25 or 3.46 LSD. Then I would probably buy a used Mark D chip. This would be a real simple/easy swap without breaking the bank.

...of course non of us would complain if you built an all out NA or turbo beast either.
