So today we got more work done. Things are moving along well.
Got the POS E motor out. All the old suspension off. Here's some pictures to look at:

Now since the entire suspension was off the car we have the car lowered on to some dollies and the guys decided to have a little fun so we pulled out some rims just to pretend that any of these would even work. Must have been all the dubstep playing in the shop today.
1set: ACS
2nd set: BBS Style 19s
3rd set: BBS RS with fat as tire on it.

We pushed the car outside and pressured washed the engine bay, under side of the car. Oh the Mtech1 spoiler was also installed for testing.

Researching the turbo stuff.
Still will need to take apart the engine and O-ring the block. Then final assembly.
Right now the engine is together but has no gaskets, no seals. We just got it together to measure and test things out.
Here is part of the list:
* Walbro 255 fuel pump - Have already good up to 3bar/ 375HP
or to go with the Bosch 040- is good for up to like double that HP
* 60lb siemens deka's is a good middle ground, or if you aren't trying to reach over 400, 42lb bosch have great atomization and an almost make the engine run smoothly.
* iskycams.com part number 100-GRM, "Rental Charge $60.00 (Tool must be purchased at your normal discount and upon return of the tool in good working order, the purchase
price is refunded less the $60.00 rental fee.)" I think the deposit is like $425 or something.
The metal O-ring is actually just .040" copper safety wire, and it comes with the tool.
* If you are considering the garrett gtx line of turbos, consider one of the FP HTA turbos: Forced Performance HTA gt3582r. Its a gt3582 that flows efficiently 75lbs!! billet wheel of course. Comparisons between the two show that the spooling characteristics of the HTA turbo are superior to that of the gtx. There are reports that the flow numbers of the gtx are slightly exaggerated. Some have used the HTA gt3076r in there e30 were super happy with them. That is unless you buy an hta 3582.
* Run individual large diameter vacuum lines to them, otherwise you will have boost spikes and BOV lag.Comment
