Yes the brakes are much more impressive in real life as well. Going to have excellent braking and look pretty sweet. Wheels will be Apex EC-7www.classicdaily.net

Eric, makes a fantastic brake set up. Here are mine. I do like your rotors better though. Use anti-seize on the pad bolts as they tend to get stuck in there.

Ive been bugging him to do a matching rear set up.95 7.1L 16V E36 M3

Yeah I am happy with the brakes. He lives about an hour and a half from me so I was able to pick them up as well.
He said the rear Z06 stuff just won't fit as nice as the front stuff. I will be using his Porsche 996 setup for the rear.
These are the DBA 2 piece front rotor and single piece rear. Both DBA.
Thanks for the tip on the anti-seize.www.classicdaily.net

No I didn't ask about bias but I did ask about which master to use and he suggests the stock M3 master. Sounds like they are pretty balanced front to rear with the Z06/Porsche setup.
I am waiting to get some info from him about what needs to be trimmed on the backing plates and also which parking brake to use before everything gets sent out for powder coating.www.classicdaily.net

Backing plates have to be trimmed a little bit to clear the new brakes.
You can see here how the fronts have to be trimmed.
I forgot to take pictures as I did the back but here is how they look after the changes.
Rear brakes just sitting on...I wanted to make sure the lip of the backing plate didn't need to be trimmed.
Reinforced the front subframe. Plates from rallyroad.net
Pile ready to go to the powder coater tomorrow
