yeah no surprise right, I figure I could limit the gremlins if I were to put the drivetrain down in a shell. I mainly want to do it to be different along with fast. I figure it would cost me less to do this since I have then boosting an m20 the right way.

I'm now sitting on a couple of shells for these crazy ideas all I need is time and money. I think I'll find one of them quicker than the other.

Coming from a BMW background I never knew that there was a 6vs7 bolt 4g up until now honestly. But I can find out why he went that route.

I'm expecting to take her out for body work next week if all goes well. I can give you whatever measurements/specs you need.
thanks man. So what is he planning on doing with the holes coming out of the tranny for the AWD? This sounds like a lot of added work, I wouldn't think you could use the awd system anyway since it sits back so far.

I have the 4g63t still in my GSX/awd and its a beast. It launches like a frog and pulls like nothing I've been around, I've been around a lot, my old boss had a Ferrari to name one. My eclipse is currently broke though as I snapped yet another axle launching it, lol.

Interesting, I've always wanted to see a 4G63 rwd swap. I'm sure people have done it but I haven't bothered to look.

Awesome build!!! The evo motor is absolutely savage. Great way to get a ton of power and keep stock-like 4 cylinder weight in the front. I've seen pics of a 4g63t e30 swap once before but no build thread or details so this would be the first documented build of this swap I believe.

Looks like a fun little build there. Any reason in particular why you chose that motor?

I'm no S14 purist by any means, just curious.

SO why did u use the suby trans? isnt it AWD?

    I'm using a 4g63t/6bolt out of 1g eclipse with a little more than 300hp.

This motor you have looks like an EVO 4g/7bolt. My exhaust manifold is on the other side.
